Teams of two - adult/kid, kid/kid or adult/adult. Friends, family members, neighbors and co-workers are invited to race against each other completing a one mile course filled with fun challenges patterned after the show "THE AMAZING RACE". Whether you run, jog, walk or watch, it'll be a BONDING EXPERIENCE you will never forget.

  The Great Amazing Race series makes pit stops in all NFL cities. The top 25 teams, at each city race, qualify for the Championship Race and $2,000 prize!  (August Championship in Cincinnati / December Championship in New Orleans)

RACE DETAILS

  Modeled after the popular television show "THE AMAZING RACE", two person teams race against other teams in a string of up to eight fun-filled challenges spread across a one-mile cross-country course. Each station will contain a SECRET CLUE CARD that instructs each team to complete a task (game, relay, obstacle course, etc.) before proceeding to the next challenge station. The team that reaches the finish line with the fastest overall time wins. How well you work as a team is the most essential ingredient to winning the race.

  1. Racers should be prepared to get a little dirty and wet - it's part of the fun! To ensure fairness and safety of all involved, some of the tasks are slightly modified for youth and senior participants.

  2. Racers can choose a RECREATION PACE (for those who prefer to walk or jog) or COMPETITIVE PACE (for those who prefer to run).

  3. Time Outs can be purchase online or on race day. You will receive a 2 minute time deduction off your overall time. It's sort of like a mulligan in golf. (1 per team allowed)

  4. Unsure of a teammate? No worries, team members can be added or substituted on race day.

  5. Plan on 60 minutes to complete the course. Reminder, this is a rain or shine event!

  6. There's no reason to leave family and friends at home. Spectators are welcome to tag along for free to cheer on racers and take photos for the scrapbook.

Schedule of Events

1:15 pm - Check-In Opens (pick up race packets)
1:55 pm - Course & Rules Review
2:00 pm - Race Starts (waves begin every 10 minutes ... kids teams, then adult teams)
4:00 pm - Race Completion

REGISTRATION FEE

   Registration is for two people: adult/kid, kid/kid or adult/adult. Kindergarten & Pre-K are allowed only if paired with an adult. 

> Team Entry Fee: $40.00 Early / $50.00 Late                                                                       > Time Out: 2 minute time stoppage or deduction (max of 1 per team) = $10.00
> Souvenir T-Shirt: $15.00 Early / $20.00 Late                                                                       > Souvenir Drawstring Backpack: $15.00 / $20.00 Late

  Active duty, reserves and retired - military, law enforcement and fire department, including spouses — receive a 50% discount per team entry fee. Please note branch of service in the comments box.

AWARDS

  Every team that crosses the finish line gets an award to recognize their accomplishment.  Medals are presented to the winners of each grade division (determined by grade of youngest team member): Grades K-4, Grades 5-12, & Adult Teams Divisions.
